So please help me.Īnd i read about the version 1.13 which Adds massive amount of content. Now i am completly confused and really don't know what to buy. But the reviews on GOG are very negative.īesides that on Steam there is Jagged Alliance 2 Gold and Jagged Alliance 2 Classic.

Now i did a little bit of research and it seems like Wildfire is the full JA2 expirience with some added content which sounds very nice. The normal one is 10 € and Wildfire is 5 €. On GOG there is Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire and Jagged Alliance 2.

So after all the years i finnaly baught a PC again and want to play this game again. Till today i call it besides Fallout 2 and Gothic 2 one of my favorite games. Get the Release version, unzip, then run the self-extracting exe and point it to your Jag 2 install.So I played as a Teenager back in the 2000s this awesome game for a few years.

WHen the mod installs it creates an Jag 2 options ini file in the Jag 2 directory. Slash and parry with your sword, wield unique special weapons, and command powerful Witchery. Then it creates a a data 1.13 sub folder. Moon hungers Unearth a strange, dark fantasy tale filled. By changing the game data path in the options ini file you can either play the game using the original data (by pointing to the data folder) or the 1.13 mod (by pointing to the 1.13 data folder). The 1.13 mod also has a massive ini file in the data 1.13 folder that allows you to change many many new game options. JA2 Gold has Jagged Alliance 2 version 1.12 and Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business version 1.01.
You don't NEED to change any of them if you don't want to, however you may want to scroll through the ini file and take a peek at what you can change. The original box came with 2 cds, one containing JA2 and one containing JA2:UB, with no content overlap.
